Using an approach that emphasizes interaction and that views academic content and language as inextricable and mutually reinforcing, you will explore culturally and linguistically responsive and sustaining teaching and assessment practices. You will engage in hands-on formative assessment to support your students' development and growth. Finally, you will explore ways in which you and others at your school can engage in these practices collaboratively in ways that allow you to recognize and deepen multilingual learners' language repertoires as they develop expertise across content areas.  80 PDU's/8 CEU

This opportunity is open to teachers in the Beaverton School District, West Linn-Wilsonville School District, and Tigard-Tualatin School District who have received an invitation to enroll.
